Ichthyol is an anti-hemorrhoid agent for local use, used in the complex treatment of pelvic inflammatory diseases (metritis, parametritis, salpingitis, adnexitis, oophoritis), chronic non-specific prostatitis and hemorrhoids.
Composition
active substance: ichthyol;
1 suppository contains ichthyol 200 mg;
excipient: solid fat.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions are possible, including itching, skin rashes, swelling, redness at the injection site.
Method of application
Assign to adults. Administer 1 suppository rectally 1-2 times a day after a cleansing enema or after a normal act of defecation. The duration of the treatment course is determined by the doctor individually. Usually, the course of treatment is 7–14 days. In case of recurrence of the disease, repeat the course of treatment.
